Another day, another Employee Spotlight! This time we’re focusing on another of our fabulous sales assistants, Isabelle! We absolutely loved hearing about her favourite customer story, read on to find out all about it….
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about your role at Say it with Diamonds?
I am a sales assistant who loves her job and loves helping customers find what they want, as well as showing them beautiful jewellery they didn't know they needed!
Q: Can you describe yourself in three words?
I would describe myself as kind, friendly and hardworking.
Q: What's the best thing about working for SIWD?
The staff for sure, as well as the welcoming nature of the business, and (of course!) seeing new stock before it's released.
Q: Do you have a favourite SIWD piece? And why?
The Circle of Life range is so incredibly beautiful, with meanings unique to each person and prices to fit all budgets - it's definitely a favourite!
Q: Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.
I am a Biomedical science student at Liverpool University.
Q: Have you got a favourite customer story?
A gentleman came to the store a couple of years ago to purchase one of our baby bangles for his beautiful newborn granddaughter. He had her name engraved into the bangle, and it was her first gift from him to her. Every year since then, he has come into the store and purchased a new gift for her; whether it be a little necklace, bracelet or keepsake for her birthday. It's so heartwarming to see her grow and add to her collection as she becomes a little lady.
Q: Do you have any advice for people who want to follow in your footsteps?
Throw yourself into it and enjoy it! Be confident with sales! Your confidence in your knowledge will take you so far, and being yourself will take you the rest of the way. Always be kind, it costs nothing.
