Next up in the Employee Spotlight seat is one of our incredible part-timers, Alex! We caught up with her to find out a bit more about her role and why she started her Say it with Diamonds’ journey. Her favourite customer story has to be one of our faves...
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about your role at Say it with Diamonds?
I work part-time at Say it with Diamonds. There is a lot to our roles which makes every day different; it can be anything from answering messages on Instagram and keeping the shop looking fabulous to seeing to a customer at our bespoke bar. My general day to day role is to help our customers get exactly what they're looking for and always leave the store satisfied with their experience.
Q: Can you describe yourself in three words?
Friendly, happy, and a little bit OCD.
Q: What's the best thing about working for SIWD?
The best thing about working at SIWD is the team we have and the customers we get to see daily. Regular or new, our customers are always lovely!
Q: Do you have a favourite SIWD piece?
My favourite SIWD piece has got to be the 18ct white gold winged initial necklace; it has to be that I wear day in day out!
Q: Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.
I love to belt out a song; singing is probably one of my favourite things to do - and dancing!
Q: Have you got a favourite customer story?
My favourite story so far is a young lad who came in to purchase a gift for his mum's 50th birthday. He wanted something bespoke and had designed two initials to be joined in whole diamonds. I just loved how thoughtful he was and how much effort he had gone for a present for his mum.
Q: Do you have any advice for people who want to follow in your footsteps?
Treat everyone how you like to be treated and show your personality!
